Even though all wrestler characters must learn professional wrestling to join The SWS, not all of them come from the same background. Every martial art or discipline learned by the wrestler will influence their fighting style, and thus their performance, gimmick and role.

Here's a list of all current SWS fighting styles:

  • Pro-Wrestling: A mix of grappling combat and showmanship skills. Trained as high performance athletes, pro-wrestlers bend their technical knowledge with their power and charisma to create a celebrity-like character of themselves. Pro wrestling focuses on entertainment; characters, narrative, production value, sex appeal, etc.

  • Lucha Libre: A tradition born from Greco-Roman wrestling mixed with Mexican culture. It involves technical, competitive and showmanship skills. Luchadores (wrestlers), highly trained wrestlers and performers, are seen as real-life superheroes.
